Enrichment
The Mustard Seed Preschool provides enrichment opportunities at no extra cost. Your student will enjoy community volunteer presentations, special music programs, and other extra curricular activities throughout the year.
At our Preschool, we believe in the valuable role music can play in the development of children. Our music classes, led by Saint Paul's Music Ministry Director, offer a wide variety of exposure to foundational basics in music including tempo, rhythm, and musical dynamics. We sing and move to songs that coordinate with our weekly themes, praise God's love for us, and get us energized!
Music
Classroom Visitors
We enjoy many visits from community programs throughout the local area. We have annual visits from Herbertsville Fire Department, Brick Police Department and Cattus Island. We enjoy both entertainment- based and safety presentations. We look forward to engaging other community groups throughout the year!
Community Service
We engage our students in various mission based opportunities throughout the year. Our favorite way to participate is by volunteering at the food pantry. Students collect donations and then visit the pantry to help sort the donations of the day. We believe that learning goes beyond the walls of our classroom.
Extended Outdoor time
Our Preschool offers outdoor time everyday, weather permitting, in our large playground area and in on the large campus ball field. During outdoor time, young learners can practice their gross motor skills while on the playground, enjoy nature while on a walk, learn about environmental science through outdoor play, and explore their surroundings.
